Charles and Vincent are 2 producers from Paris. Their Solead project is a culmination of years of musical association. From 2000 onwards, between them as seperate projects they have produced 4 albums and more than 80 tracks, establishing them as some of France’s most respected electronic musicians. The Solead project was created to combine their knowledge of electronic music production and to feed their love of music. Since beginning to work together again, they have become a favourite of DJs worldwide with remixes from the likes of Beauty School, (ex E.M.F band) and dancefloor stompers like 3rd Contact (released on Vitalic’s label Citizen), and even reaching the top of the charts with the remix they did for Fingertwister of "I remember jah" on Chillosophy Music.
« Paperclip » is a tribal rhythmical track evolving progressively with groovy harmonics layers. « Pitufao » is a jazzy minimal-house tune, already well known on brazilian dancefloors ! Definitely a different ambiance for this second release ! Solead & Friends / THM001 OUT NOW!
The creative energy is increasing by the association of talents. That seemed to be for us the best way to open Tree Hand music : by the realization of this vision. We decided to start with a Solead & friends release, an assortment of collaborations in varied styles, where we wanted to advance the differents universes of every artist who have participated in this connection. So we open the dance by a collaboration between Solead & Guet from Room 10, simply the head of Tree Hand.
They are respected for the great diversity of their music and have already caught the attention of respected artist in a wide range of style : such as Vitalic and his label Citizen, John Digweed (Giddy Down rmx on Transitions 3 compilation) , Damian Lazarus, Minilogue, Kasey Taylor, Piliavin & Zimbardo, Dj Hal, Stama... and labels such as Vapour, Chillosophy Music, Subsonic and Erase records.With many upcoming releases and major festival gigs at events such as the Roskilde Festival in Denmark, they have performed live sets all around the globe, in Europe, South Africa, North and South America, Asia & Australia- they are no doubt one of the names to watch in 2007 and beyond. Room 10 is Guet and Hector, a dynamic duo with multiple and complementary influences hailing from Paris, France. The two joined forces in the studio and spawned the first hypnotic sounds of Room 10, proudly presented as Pinksilver’s sixth release in the form of the ‘Expansion EP’. They reveal a distinct Room 10 sound – four to the floor, stripped back music that builds, sways & jiggles its way through an intense palette of synthetic sounds. For Tree Hand, Solead & Guet produced Shishiodoshi, a minimal techno piece in the deep tones and decidely modern which will doubtless vibrate on most Avant-garde dancefloors.
As a resident DJ from Trance Cafe, he plays from Hokkaido to Fukuoka, including major clubs like Citta or Ageha, and also in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Thailand. As a music producer under the name of CLUTCH, from 2004 to 2006 he released 12 tracks on various labels like b.p.f., Maniac I.Q., Groove Zone, Stargate, Sub Machine, Plastik Park. For Tree Hand, Solead & Clutch produced Biologic. The perfect alliance of Biologic and Shishiodoshi, in its differences, reveal an effectiveness without fault in a light and festive atmosphere featuring always the deep minimal touch of this 1st release. We will continue by the 2nd release of Solead & Friends with two different tonalities pieces. Wait many surprises! |
